Three widgets, built to mix and match. All Batteries shows your Mac and every device at a glance, in small, medium, large and extra large: the bigger the size, the more devices fit. Mac Battery gives one machine the big-number treatment with charging state and time remaining. Device Battery puts the single device you care about most front and center.

Every widget has its own settings: right-click it and choose Edit Widget. Pick exactly which devices appear and in what order, or leave it on Automatic and the lowest battery is always in view. Choose a style: rings with the device glyph inside, an Apple-style list, or bars like Juicy's own dropdown. They work beautifully on macOS 27, including the clear and tinted looks, and you can switch a single widget to a quiet monochrome appearance while the rest of your desktop stays colorful.

AirPods show left, right and case, and if Juicy isn't running, the widget says so instead of showing stale numbers.

Plugged into a monitor, hub or phone charger that can't keep up? Juicy now notices the battery is still draining and fires your low battery alerts anyway, instead of staying quiet just because a cable is attached.

Until now, checking your AirPods meant opening Juicy. Small thing, but you do it ten times a day. This release puts the batteries you care about directly in the menu bar, and gives you a keyboard shortcut for everything else.

Pin your keyboard, mouse, AirPods, or anything else Juicy tracks, and their battery percentage sits right next to the Juicy icon. No clicking, no opening anything. Add and reorder them under Settings, Menu Bar, and drag the Juicy icon itself to wherever you want it in the lineup.

The pins are drawn inside Juicy's single menu bar item rather than as separate icons, so they can't get scattered, reordered by macOS, or swallowed by the notch. When a device disconnects its slot stays put for a while so nothing jumps around, then quietly collapses. And when your Mac's own battery gets low, scanning eases off so watching your peripherals never costs you minutes of runtime.

Press ⌃⌥J from any app and the Juicy dropdown opens. Once it is open, single keys jump you around: I for battery info, E for energy apps, D for devices, L for Low Power Mode. Every one of them is rebindable, and you can remove the ones you don't want, under Settings, Shortcuts.

🔔 Low Battery Alerts Catch Up After Sleep

If your Mac sleeps straight through one of your alert levels, the alert used to just never arrive. Now Juicy checks the moment your Mac wakes and tells you right away, with the real battery level, not the one it missed. Wake it repeatedly at the same low level and it stays quiet: one alert per discharge.

🩺 Battery Reading Fixes for macOS 27

macOS 27 moved where it reports battery capacity, which left Battery Health and Capacity Details blank or frozen for people on the beta. Juicy reads the new values now. And when a number genuinely isn't available, it shows a dash instead of inventing one, which is the honest answer.

macOS occasionally reaches in and overrides your charge limit on its own, which left Juicy reporting a battery state that did not match what was actually happening. It now catches that, tells you plainly what macOS is doing, and re-applies your limit instead of quietly losing the argument. The charging helper also reinstalls itself properly after an app update, so your limit never gets stranded at an old value.

The menu bar icon now takes exactly the width it needs and no more, so it stops nudging your other icons around. Toggles across the app animate more smoothly. Desktop Macs open straight to your connected devices, since that is the only battery in the room. And alerts you set on a renamed device fire again: if your AirPods ever showed up twice under an old and a new name, your alerts now follow the merged one.

Juicy now checks what your Mac's charging system actually supports before it touches anything, adapts to the newer method where it exists, and pauses its charge features when the firmware isn't supported yet. On a beta version of macOS, that is the difference between a clear message and a battery quietly doing whatever it wants.

macOS has its own charge limit, and when it is on it will hold your battery below whatever you set in Juicy. Confusing, because both apps are telling the truth. Juicy now detects the conflict, explains which one is winning, and gives you a shortcut straight to the right System Settings pane.
